Natural Bridge is the site of the 2nd largest Civil War battle in Florida & they have a beautiful monument there to commemorate the solders that won. The park is not large but it was very pretty. As soon as I got out of the car, I had a calming come over me. Besides the battle, the park is kept safe because that is where the St. Marks River just disappears underground before popping back up a quarter mile away. Nature is amazing.

I walked around briefly, admiring the water that was there, looked at the monument, and then headed back to my car. My visit was brief but very enjoyable.

Before you visit, make sure you check out the parks website for all of the up-to-date park information: https://www.floridastateparks.org/parks-and-trails/natural-bridge-battlefield-historic-state-park
