As I walked around Curry Hammock State Park all I could think about was how beautiful it was, everywhere I looked. I mean you can really go wrong visiting any park in the Keys. I walked along the cute little beach and the stunning water just took my breath away. I had a lot of fun chasing a giant lizard all around. I had never seen anything like that and just wanted to get a closer look but he was not having that.
Curry Hammock was the first park I was in that made me want to try kayaking. I had never even been on one before so trying to kayak alone would be a disaster. My journey took me out of my comfort zone often but I still let fear keep alive. The last thing I wanted to do was get lost at sea!
