Andrew and I arrived at Troy Springs to find it extremely quiet and the spring itself was closed to the public. We spent some time wandering around the grounds, admiring the peach trees and landscape, before making our way down to the spring.  At first we thought the spring was closed because it was not season but as we made our way down to the dock it was very apparent that something was wrong, we just did not know what.

It was a little murky for a spring but still very pretty. We had the whole park to ourselves and I didn’t mind at all. I am sure few people visit in the winter months, for good reason, it’s pretty cold.

Before you visit, make sure you check out the parks website for all of the up-to-date park information: https://www.floridastateparks.org/parks-and-trails/troy-spring-state-park
