George Crady Bridge Fishing Pier State Park was a very neat sight to see. As Uncle Barry and I drove over the bridge to get to Amelia Island State Park we could see many people spread out along the mile long pier. There were people fishing, lounging, and walking along, enjoying the pretty day.

Even if you don’t fish you can enjoy the pedestrian-only bridge. If you do fish, just bring your rods and if you forget anything, don’t worry. On the Line Bait and Tackle shop will have what you are looking for. Just keep in mind that this is a state park so it does close at sunset, no night fishing is allowed there.

Before you visit, make sure you check out the parks website for all of the up-to-date park information: https://www.floridastateparks.org/parks-and-trails/george-crady-bridge-fishing-pier-state-park
