Gamble Rogers Memorial State Recreation Area at Flagler Beach was a nice park with two sides to it. I pulled off of A1A and went right over to the oceanside to take a look. It was a pretty, breezy day and the area was very active. I got out of the car and I walked over to the memorial sign for Gamble Rogers. I took a few steps onto the golden beach and then I headed back to my car to check out what the other side had to offer.

I crossed the street to the campground and walked down by the fishing dock. I braved the mile hike, which was under a nice cool canopy. I was feeling under the weather that day so after my hike it was time for me to hit the road and find my bed.

Before you visit, make sure you check out the parks website for all of the up-to-date park information: https://www.floridastateparks.org/index.php/parks-and-trails/gamble-rogers-memorial-state-recreation-area-flagler-beach
