Econfina River State Park was beautiful and mesmerizing all at the same time. I was drawn to the water as soon as I arrived. I stood at the edge intrigued that I could see the bottom of the river. I was a little surprised that I could even see the bottom because the water was so dark I did not think I would be able to see through it. I wondered if the water levels were so low because of the drought all over the state in the months prior or if nature was making a shift. Either way I was thankful for being witness to the beauty before my eyes.

I took a great walk through the woods and got to see some old buildings that got gobbled up by the woods around them and then circled back to the water. It was a lovely park to explore and I really enjoyed being there.
