Jenna’s Adventure through the Florida State Parks
In the year of 2016, I decided that instead of paying bills, buying junk food or beer with my birthday money, I would use it to get an annual pass to the Florida State Parks. My mission – see ALL 161 state parks in 365 days! Could it be done? I’m wasn’t sure but I was going to try. I will be posting my experience I had during the year here with the date, the park name and the number it was on my visiting list!

I thought it would be cool to document my journey via writing and a few pictures of each place I experience. I might even throw a video in every now and again. I have lived in Florida most of my life and have only been to a few state parks. I am very interested to see what changes, if any, have occurred since my last visits.
I think it will be awesome to have some guest on my travels but there is no doubt that most of my journey will be solo or with Casey by my side! I am really looking forward to going to places I have never gone before; parks I have never heard of or just driven by. Some are going to require weekend trips, possibly even a full week’s vacation. I am not sure if I see actual camping in my future this year but you never know, crazier things have been known to happen! I hope you come along with me and maybe discover a Florida you never knew existed!
